Nick Oglesby is a fourteen year financial industry veteran and has a passion for helping clients through life’s transitions. Whether you are transitioning out of a marriage, are experiencing the death of a loved one, or you are getting ready to retire, Nick has the experience and passion to help you determine your next steps financially. “I want to be my clients’ trusted partner, the first person they call when they are going through situations that may impact their finances. One of the biggest services we provide is peace of mind knowing that we have listened to our clients’ concerns and have a plan in place to address those concerns.”
In addition to his experience as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), he is an expert in Retirement Income Planning and also holds the following designations:
- Retirement Income Certified Professional – This designation focuses on educating clients on proven ways we can create income for retirement; and
- Chartered Advisor for Senior Living – This designation focuses on planning and caring for seniors.
Nick feels especially impassioned about retirement planning and working with seniors because “financially speaking, this is the most vulnerable time in most peoples’ lives. As this is likely when individuals’ assets are at their peak, one financial misstep could have significant repercussions on their lifestyles and ability to be cared for in accordance with their wishes. There is no other time in people’s lives in America today where integrity and prudence in financial advice is more needed.”
Nick was born and raised in Kansas and graduated from Buhler High School and Sterling College with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Economics. In his spare time, Nick participates on the worship team for his church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends watching football (go Huskers and Chiefs), playing golf poorly, and trying out new bbq recipes.
