Nicholas Oglesby CFP®, CASL®, RICP®
Certified Financial PlannerĀ® Practitioner, Retirement Income Certified Professional, Chartered Advisor for Senior Living
Nicholas Oglesby is a Certified Financial Planner® professional who brings clarity and confidence to individuals navigating life’s most important transitions. With a financial planning career shaped by real-life challenges and a steady focus on retirement income strategies, Nick helps clients replace uncertainty with a sense of calm and direction.
Whether you’re stepping into retirement, experiencing a life-altering loss, or redefining your financial future after a major event, Nick’s role is to listen, understand, and guide you forward with a clear plan. “The heart of our work,” Nick says, “is offering clarity and a steady hand during life’s biggest transitions. It’s about knowing someone’s truly in your corner—ready to guide you with your goals in mind.”
In addition to his CFP® certification, Nick holds two specialized designations:
· RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional): Focused on designing sustainable income strategies to help clients transition confidently into and through retirement.
· CASL® (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living): Emphasizing advanced planning and care strategies tailored to seniors and their families.
Nick is especially passionate about working with those in or nearing retirement—a time when financial decisions carry significant weight. “This is often the most financially vulnerable season of a person’s life,” he explains. “There’s a need for careful planning, steady guidance, and above all, trust. One wrong move can have lasting consequences, which is why this work matters so much.”
A native Kansan, Nick graduated from Sterling College in 2004 with a degree in History and Economics. Since graduating, he has spent his entire career in financial services, focusing on helping others make informed decisions and achieve peace of mind at every stage of life. He considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients and genuinely loves the work he does.
Outside the office, Nick can be found leading worship at his local church, spending time with his family and friends, cheering for the Chiefs and Royals, playing golf (with more enthusiasm than skill), and smoking up new BBQ creations.
